Your visit to Casa Valldeperas
We will start the workshop with a demonstration of how a piece is made in a lathe. We will see the whole process of creating a vase from the beginning to the end. Students can participate, giving shape to the piece of clay on the wheel. Each student, as well as experiencing the sensation of working the clay in this way, will take home a piece of pottery made by him or herself. In the workshop you can also see an exhibition of Catalan ceramic pieces from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, as well as the first automatic ceramic machine in Spain.
In addition, Casa Valldeperas has 10,000m2 of indoor and outdoor facilities in the middle of nature. Its recreation and picnic area includes a pine forest, where you can eat and have fun until you return.
