Your visit to Cava Centre
Located 50m from the Espai Xocolata the Cava Centre is located in a former ethyl alcohol distillery that was built in 1814. During their visit students will learn about the origins of cava, the history of the vineyards, the process of wine and cava making and what the infestation of phylloxera meant for the sector. They will also discover who were the Seven Sages of Greece and will immerse themselves in the spirit of celebration that has turned Sant Sadurní d’Anoia into the capital of cava.
This guided visit, which is adapted for school students, will allow visitors to interact with screens, devices and other audiovisual elements in 3D. At the end of it students will play games and taste “most” (grape juice).
